Accessibility

We want every teacher, parent and child to be able to use our lessons. Here’s what we do, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.

Updated October 23, 2026

We want every teacher, parent, and child to be able to use Teach Them Jesus, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

  • Our printable lessons use Atkinson Hyperlegible, a font designed by the Braille Institute to be easy to read for people with low vision.
  • Pages use clear headings, readable text sizes, and strong color contrast.
  • Illustrations include text descriptions, and links and buttons can be reached with a keyboard.
  • Pages work on phones, tablets, and computers, and with browser zoom.
  • Lesson stories are written for each age group’s reading level, and many activities include options for different abilities.

Known limits

Some older PDFs and coloring pages are mainly visual and may not work well with screen readers. Payments happen on Stripe’s checkout page, which follows Stripe’s own accessibility standards.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on the site is hard to use, or you need a lesson in a different format, please contact us or email info@teachthemjesus.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We’ll do our best to respond within five business days and find a way to help.
