Teach Them Jesus makes Bible lessons for preschool through 6th grade, for Bible class teachers and families teaching at home. Every lesson tells a real Bible story, teaches a Godly principle, and shows kids how the story points to Jesus.
Why we started
We’re Bradley and Abigail Brooks, parents of four, and we’ve spent years teaching kids about Jesus in the churches we’ve served. For most of that time we wrote our own curriculum, because every time we used something off the shelf, we ended up adapting it, rewriting it, and updating it to fit our kids and our volunteer teachers.
Teach Them Jesus is the curriculum we kept wishing we had: grace-first, faithful to Scripture, easy for a volunteer or a parent to teach, and pointing every story to Jesus.
Our goal is big. We’re building the largest library of Christian children’s curriculum available to parents and teachers, so that whatever Bible story or principle you want to teach, there’s a lesson ready for every age.
Meet the family behind the lessons
Bradley Brooks
Bradley has served in children’s, youth, and worship ministry, and now serves in men’s ministry. He and Abigail co-lead re|engage, a marriage ministry. He holds a degree in marketing from Abilene Christian University.
Abigail Brooks
Abigail co-leads the re|engage marriage ministry with Bradley. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and her master’s degree from Abilene Christian University.
Paityn Brooks
Our oldest daughter, Paityn, helps shape our curriculum, making sure lessons connect with the kids they’re written for.
Tested at home
With four kids of our own, we know what holds a preschooler’s attention and what makes a 6th grader think. Our family is our first classroom.
What makes these lessons different
Grace comes first
Kids hear what God has done for them before they hear what to do. Obedience is a response to God’s love, never a way to earn it.
God is the hero
Bible characters aren’t moral examples to copy. David’s courage came from trusting God, so the hero of the lesson is God.
Every story points to Jesus
Every lesson that isn’t directly about Jesus has a Christ Connection, so kids see the Bible as one true story of God’s rescue.
One story, every age
Preschool through 6th grade learn the same passage and big idea, each at their own level. Perfect for families with kids of different ages.
Moments of discovery
Every lesson has a Hidden in Plain Sight insight, a detail in the text most people read right past. We want kids to say, “I never saw that!” and open their Bibles to look.
Fun that kids remember
Ellie, Theo and their dog Dasch guide each lesson, and every age gets an activity sheet full of puzzles, games and facts, so learning God’s Word feels like an adventure.
Written carefully, reviewed by hand
Every lesson follows a written theology and voice guide, stays faithful to the Bible passage without adding events, and cites every verse. Each one is reviewed before it’s published. We teach historic, mainstream Christianity without a denominational label, so any Bible-believing church or family can use it. Read what we believe.
Made for real classrooms and kitchen tables
Lessons use supplies you already have: paper, crayons, tape. No screens or expensive kits. A volunteer teacher can prepare in about 15 minutes, and a parent can teach at the kitchen table any day of the week.
