The Ten Lepers

Luke 17:11-19; Leviticus 13:45-46 New Testament PrincipleThankfulness

A healed Samaritan man kneeling joyfully at Jesus' feet on a dusty road while nine others hurry away in the distance.

Ten men with leprosy begged Jesus for mercy, and He healed all ten. Only one came back to thank Him, a Samaritan outsider. Jesus is good to us every day, so we come back to Him with thankful hearts.

Jesus is kind and generous to us before we ever say thank you. Because He is so good, we turn back to Him with thankful hearts.

Bible story 6 min

Jesus was walking to a little town. Ten men stood far away. They had leprosy, a bad skin sickness.

They could not live with their families. They called out loudly, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"

Jesus saw them. He said, "Go and show yourselves to the priests."
