Seeing God's World · Lesson 12
Living It Out
Daniel 6; Romans 12:1-2 Old Testament PrincipleFaithfulness

Daniel was an old man in Babylon when jealous leaders tricked the king into banning prayer. Daniel kept praying three times a day, just as he always had, and God shut the lions' mouths. A biblical worldview isn't just how we see. It's how we live, every day, so we're ready when the hard day comes.
Small, faithful habits with God every day make me ready to stand for Him on the hard day.

Memory verse
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Romans 12:2 BSB
Christ Connection · Picture
Daniel was sealed in a den with a stone and came out alive at dawn. Jesus was sealed in a tomb with a stone, truly died for our sins and rose on the third day. Daniel was faithful, but Jesus is the perfectly faithful One, and because of His mercy we offer ourselves to God as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1).
Matthew 27:66; Hebrews 11:33; Romans 12:1
The Big Story · Redemption
Daniel came out of a sealed den alive. Centuries later, Jesus was laid in a sealed tomb, truly died and rose again, so that everyone who trusts Him can live a new life now and forever.

Daniel prayed to God every day. When a bad law said "No praying," Daniel kept praying just like before, and God shut the lions' mouths. When we follow God every day, we are ready for hard days.
Memory verse
“Do not be like the world. Let God change you by making your mind new.”

Bible story 6 min
Daniel was an old man now. He had lived in Babylon a long time. He worked for King Darius. He did his job so well that the king wanted to put him in charge of everything.
Some other leaders were jealous. They looked for something bad Daniel did. They found nothing!
So they tricked the king. "Make a rule. For 30 days, no one can pray to anyone but you!" The king signed it.

Daniel 6 shows a man whose private habits of prayer made him unshakable in public, and Romans 12:2 says every one of us is being shaped, either conformed to this world or transformed by a renewed mind. A biblical worldview isn't finished when we see clearly. It's lived out, day after day, so we're ready when faithfulness costs something.
