Timothy's grandmother Lois and mother Eunice taught him God's Word when he was little. He grew up to help Paul tell people about Jesus. In his last letter, Paul told Timothy to keep holding on to the Scriptures, because they come from God and point to Jesus.
God is always faithful, and His Word never changes. We stay faithful by holding on to His Word and following Jesus all our lives.

Christ Connection · Jesus’ plan
Paul said the Scriptures "are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus" (2 Timothy 3:15). The whole Bible points to Jesus. Jesus Himself said, "These are the very words that testify about Me" (John 5:39). Learning God's Word means getting to know Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:15; Luke 24:27; John 5:39
The Big Story · Redemption
From the beginning, God has spoken. His Word is passed from one generation to the next, faithfully pointing every generation to Jesus until He comes again.
