Christ Connection · Picture

God provided a ram to take Isaac's place, so Isaac could live. Two thousand years later, God provided the Lamb Abraham spoke about: His own Son, Jesus, who took our place. God didn't spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all (Romans 8:32).

Bible story 6 min

Abraham and Sarah waited a long time for a baby. When Abraham was 100 years old, God gave them a son named Isaac. They loved him so much!

When Isaac was older, God tested Abraham. God said, "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love. Go to a mountain I will show you. Give him to Me as an offering."

That was very hard. But Abraham trusted God. He got up early the next day. He and Isaac and two helpers set off. After three days, they saw the mountain.
