Christ Connection · Promise
Seven hundred years earlier, Isaiah promised a Servant who would be pierced for our sins: "the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). On Easter evening Jesus said "Peace" and showed the very hands and side where that peace was paid for. "Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans 5:1). He Himself is our peace (Ephesians 2:14).
John 20:19-21; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:14; Colossians 1:20
The Big Story · Redemption
Sin broke our peace with God, and Jesus made peace by His cross and resurrection, so that one day all things will be made whole.

Bible story 6 min
It was the first Easter. That morning, the tomb was empty! But Jesus' friends did not know what to think. They were scared. They hid in a room. They locked the door.
"What if the soldiers come for us?" they said. Some of them had run away when Jesus was taken. They felt bad and afraid.
Then, all at once, Jesus was standing right there with them! The door was still locked. But Jesus was in the room.
