Ask, "What's the scariest storm you've ever been in?" Let a few kids share. Say, "Today Jesus' friends are in a boat in the middle of a huge storm. Let's see what Jesus does!"
Bible story 6 min
One evening, Jesus said to His friends, "Let's go across the lake." So they got into a boat. Jesus was tired. He lay down on a pillow in the back and fell asleep.
Then a big storm came! The wind blew hard. Huge waves crashed into the boat. The boat began to fill with water. His friends were very scared. Some of them were fishermen, and even they were scared!
They woke Jesus up. "Teacher! Don't You care? We're going to sink!"
